Samsung Announces CRG9 5K Ultrawide FreeSync 2 HDR 120Hz Monitor

Samsung has announced Super Ultrawide FreeSync 2 monitor offering resolution up to 5120×1440 (which is 2x WQHD) and refresh-rate at 120Hz. It is 49inch CRG9 monitor with the aspect ratio of 32:9 and 4ms claimed response time and 1,800mm screen curvature. This monitor supports AMD Free-Sync 2 out of the box and it handles HDR technology (HDR 10) with a peak brightness of 1000 nits making the screen ideal for both office use and by gamers. The screen offers 2x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI. Offering Headphones connectivity and USB 3.0 also available input-wise.

Samsung is yet to announce about pricing or when it intends to start sales of CRG9 monitor and full specification. So expect them to be disclosed in CES’19 this month.
