Rumor: Nvidia’s GTX 1070 Ti To Use 9Gbps Memory

Recently it has been rumored that Nvidia will release the Titanium version of the GTX 1070 to compete against AMD‘s Vega 56. The GTX 1070 Ti is expected to release in late October, most probably October 26.

Nothing has been confirmed about this Graphics Card by the official sources publicly so far but it is expected that GTX 1070 Ti will use a GDDR5 memory of 9Gbps. This will place the Graphics Card right in between of the GTX 1070 and Nvidia‘s original GTX 1080, bandwidth memory wise.

Nordic Hardware tells us that the GTX 1070 Ti will have 2,432 Cuda Cores, with a 1,607 MHz base clock (Similar to the GTX 1080) and a boost clock of 1,683 (Same as the GTX 1070).

The release of Nvidia‘s GTX 1070 Ti will most probably put AMD in a bad position in the market of gaming. As it will lessen the effectiveness of AMD‘s RX Vega Series of GPUs, limiting their ability to fight Nvidia further.
