The performance test of upcoming AMD Radeon RX Vega have been leaked, a compelling measuring because many have criticized the comparison of Radeon Vega Frontier with GeForce GTX 1080 with a reasoning that Vega Frontier is a competent graphic card and it should be compared with a efficient GPU like the NVIDIA Quadro.
AMD Radeon RX Vega Scored 31,873 in 3DMark11
The Radeon RX Vega under the code-named ” 687F: C1 ” has been tested several times, Up-To 9 time precisely in 3DMark11 benchmark software. Many tests are made with the use of a different frequency of the GPU and memory, whereas 3DMark 11 is not able to correctly recognize these frequencies. The worst of the test scores of 27,890 points, pretty above a Colorful GeForce GTX 1070 iGame XTOP (Overclocked) that throws 26,530 points compared to the 24,540 points on reference frequencies. The overclocked RX Vega reached a score of 31,873 points superior to the 30,400 points of the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X, but lesser than the 32,194 points of MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X (Overclocked).

Sadly, we do not know if these are good or bad numbers, but here we are talking about the performance of top of the line AMD Vega GPU with 4096 Stream Processors and in condition of performance scores are not looking that good. But we have to wait to know more details about Vega and the most important of all, its price. We are most possibly looking at a challenger of GTX 1080 that will most likely come in the price of a GTX 1070. The performance of the RX Vega has improved by 15% in past 3 months, we can still expect slightly better performance with optimized drivers and at the end of this month AMD will be officially announcing its Vega based graphics card.
