As we already know, AMD will be the first to launch 7nm desktop CPUs at CES 2019. Just recently, a Russian retailer reveals up-coming Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 processors along with their specifications. The leak shows AMD doubling it core-counts on the destop.
According to many reports, AMD is going to announce 7nm CPU and GPU line-up in CES 2019. The Ryzen 5 starts from ‘R5 3600’ 8C/16T boost 4.4GHz and base 3.6GHz at only 65W and ‘R5 3600x’ the big boy in family features 4.0GHz base clock and boost clock up-to 4.8GHz at 95W and there are two successors for Ryzen 7 family starts from ‘R7 3700‘ featuring 12C/24T base clock 3.8GHz and boost clock up-to 4.6GHz. ‘R7 3700x’ the big brother in family would share same-count but higher clocks impressive 4.2GHz base and 5.0GHz boost.
The Ryzen 9 3800X would feature 16 cores and 32 threads, twice as many as current Ryzen 7 2700x flag-ship CPU with the base clock of 3.9GHz and boost frequency of 4.7GHz at 125W TDP which 20W more than 2700x.
