Now this time our hands are on the Glorious Model O Minus, slighter than the Model O, the Model O Minus is intended to provide to gamers who favored gaming mice small in size. If you found that the Glorious Model O is just lengthy and big for you then the Model O Minus is to be considered the best choice for you.

The Model O Minus brings the similar great form in a little bit small in size. The Glorious Model O Minus is also having an ambidextrous design like Model O, it means it can be used easily by both hands. The Model O Minus also had two coating variants, matte version is 58g and the glossy version is 59g making it super lightweight (10g lighter than the Model O).

The key difference between the Glorious Model O and Model O Minus is the size and weight, all other aspects are same like RGB lighting, switches, DPI, quality etc. The Glorious Model O Minus is available in white, black and pink color in both coatings’ matte and glossy. The Glorious Model O Minus Packaging:

The packaging of the Glorious Model O Minus is similar to Glorious Model D and Model O, only the difference is the box of Glorious Model O Minus is both longer and wider. The packing for the Glorious Model O Minus is best as we already know and validates that the Glorious PC Gaming Race is a beginner but ensures that the packaging will be excellent.

The box of the Model O Minus also comes with black and white tone like its previous models. The company didn’t change the appearance. The front side of the box shows the glorious pc gaming race on the upper side, the sketch of the Glorious Model O Minus is on the left side and the Model O Minus named in silver stamp right next to its 58g reflective weight sticker.

The backside is also same, you can see numerous technical specifications on the right side, the detailed introduction of the mouse, the outlining of the mouse showing dimensions and QR scan code right under the specifications.

The inside view of the box of Glorious Model O Minus is pretty much same as the Model D, the mouse is securely placed on the black plastic tray and there is also a room for its flexible braided cable. The company updated the cable management in Model O Minus and Model D because in Model O the cable was placed underneath it.

A Closer Look:

The Glorious Model O Minus serves an ambidextrous design like Model O. The Model O Minus is perfect for small to medium hand grips, its low-profile height makes palm grip a little difficult. The Model O Minus has a honeycomb hexagon shell for its body, and it is the principal characteristic of Glorious PC Gaming Race to be able to attain a light weight feather like gaming mouse while continuing a strong body. The mouse is relaxed in use during hours of gaming and other stuff.

The RGB lighting is also similar as the Model O and D, two LED strips line on the sides of the mouse and the scroll wheel has also two RGB ribbons around it, the RGB lighting can be customized without the use of utility but you can get extra properties if you consider the utility software. The theme tone of the Model O Minus is always the same as previous models, you can see that the logo of Odin is located on the left side and the Glorious text logo is printed on the lower right front of the mouse. There are total of six programmable buttons that uses Omron Mechanical Rated Switches, MB1 and MB2, a rubberized scroll wheel between them, two configurable buttons on left side of the mouse and a one DPI on top.

In Glorious Model O Minus, the PixArt PMW-3360 Sensor is used, and it ranges from 400 to 12000 DPI sensor, the polling rate of 1000Hz at 1 millisecond. You can find the DPI indicator on the bottom of the Model O Minus. The white stoke feet by G-Skates of the Model O Minus are made up of white-dyed 100% PTFE (Teflon) that ought to last long and for better gliding. Remember, this time you can’t find extra skates in the box, you have to buy it. The build quality of the mouse same as previous models as I said already the only major differ is size and weight. Testing and Performance:

With the use of 144Hz LED gaming monitor, the Glorious Model O Minus indeed sense like e-sports rating gear. Tested Counter Strike Global Offensive (CSGO), Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and various other titles but major in these, the Model O Minus performed accurately well as hoped. The PixArt PMW-3360 sensor hasn’t changed so there is no difference in performance as compared to Model D and Model O. The Model O Minus has a wide range of DPI which be able to run up to 1000Hz Polling Rate from min 400 to max 12000, through the use of software you can easily personalized it. The Omron Mechanical Rated Switches are used in Model O Minus and there are total six programmable buttons which has a life expectancy of 20 million clicks, the two configurable buttons on left are only favored in first person shooting titles. The rubberized scroll wheel is smooth and silent as always.

There is no doubt in terms of performance of Glorious Model O Minus if you use previous models, the performance is same because the features are same only difference in physique that is more suitable for small palm grips. The ambidextrous design ensures that you can use Model O Minus easily with both of your hands. The feet of the Model O Minus are G-Skates and they are made up of white-dyed 100% PTFE (Teflon) so you don’t face any issue during movement of the mouse. The RGB lighting in Model O Minus produces eight effects of 16.8 million, so your Model O Minus always shines when using. You can personalize various RGB profiles with the help of its software. Overall, the Glorious Model O Minus is ideal gaming mouse for small to medium hand grips and it is the ultra-light weight gaming mouse I ever used.

Software:

Nowadays almost all the modern peripheral devices are plug and play, you don’t need to install special drivers or software to enable them. Like Glorious Model O Minus, almost all settings covered in plug and play but if you need extra features you might consider its software that is available on its official site.

The software of the Model O Minus is similar as the Model O and you can also use Model O software because it is fully compatible with Model O Minus. All settings are user friendly and accessible in one page. All the six buttons you can see at the left side can be remapped with media, mouse and DPI adjustments. The macro sequence is also compatible. There is a profile editor beneath them, you can change your profiles and save them in three dissimilar settings. There are other configurable choices such as DPI settings, RGB lighting, polling rate etc. are present on the left side. This software program lets you to customize the DPI up to six dissimilar settings from 400 to 12000 DPI with increment of 100 DPI each step, the DPI button can be used to change the settings directly by your Model O Minus.

The Model O Minus has RGB lighting effects on its LED strips and the ribbon of its scroll wheel, the eight changed RGB effects can be used on it with LED off feature. Each style presents something other than previous and some of them allows you to adjust the speed, brightness and color. The lift-off distance (LOD) that can be set from 2mm to 3mm but consider it to set as low as possible. Polling rate can be attuned to subsequent options, 125 / 250 / 500 and 1000Hz. The debounce time can be adjust from 4ms to 16ms, which means set interval in button pressing to avoid from double clicking. The settings of the software can be saved in on board memory and this is good because you don’t need to run the application every time.
