After Zotac, Gigabyte has also released their take on a mITX case compatible GTX 1080 in the form of GeForce GTX 1080 Mini ITX 8G. At only 169mm long, this model beats the Zotac model in terms of size, coming in at 40mm shorter but the expense of only one fan.
The GIGABYTE 1080 Mini ITX features a semi-passive 90mm fan (turning off under certain loads/temperatures), triple heat pipe cooling solution, and 5+2 power phase. Considering the specs, its still very capable in terms of keeping cool under load. Despite the minimal cooling solution, the card maintains stock clocks in Gaming Mode and gets a small boost in OC Mode. The card itself is powered by a single 8 pin.

The dimensions of this model Gigabyte’s previous small form factor releases for the 1060 and the 1070, so builders looking to upgrade their GPUs in their SFF builds can easily swap cards without any space hassles, provided their PSU can handle the load.
