EVGA Launches GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid

EVGA lineup of GeForce GTX 1080Ti offers a total of seven models, almost all of which are quite air cooled. The sole exception is EVGA’s new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid Gaming, which combines an all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooling solution with air cooling to keep things nice and cool. EVGA announced the launch of a new GPU, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID, which combines the iCX air cooling system with a water cooling system developed in partnership with Asetek.

Features for the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID :

• Featuring a total of 11 global patents (pending and granted), iCX is efficiency perfected.
• 9 Additional Sensors and MCU’s embedded on the PCB.
• Full Control Using EVGA Precision XOC.
• EVGA’s iCX is the Very Definition of Interactive Cooling.
• Asynchronously-cooled GPU and PWR components use iCX sensors to determine Pump/Fan speed.

GTX 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid also features EVGA’s iCX technology, which means it’s loaded with thermal sensors for targeted cooling that let you monitor the temperatures/thermals all over the card. The air cooling system is responsible for cooling the VRM of the GPU (which is 10 + 2 power phases design) together with the other components on the PCB. The water cooling system is responsible for cooling the GPU itself, it comes with 120 mm radiator and requires some space to install the radiator, where the water pump is also fixed.

The EVGA GeForce 1080 GTX Ti FTW3 HYBRID uses GP102 silicon chip where its 3584 CUDA Cores, 224 TMUs and 88 ROPs reach a Base / Turbo frequencies of 1569/1683 MHz (vs 1480/1582 MHz in reference model) while 11GB Of GDDR5X memory is kept at 11 GHz.

There are nine additional sensors strategically placed, along with multiple MCUs (memory controller units) placed on the PCB, You can monitor each of the sensors in real-time by using EVGA’s Precision XOC utility.

The instructions are completed with the use of a pair of 8-Pin PCI-E ports for power, with an RGB LED lighting system that can be controlled by EVGA’s software, has a TDP of 280W, and has six video outputs in the form of two HDMI 2.0, three DisplayPort 1.4 and one DVI port.

Price : EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID will cost around $850 (probably 1Lac PKR+ in Pakistan when available).
