Bitfenix shows off new cases at Computex 2017

Bitfenix unveiled several new cases at Computex 2017 featuring a newer design language but offering the same solid build quality which the company is renown for. The newer cases feature tempered glass panels for more modern looks while staying true to their signature aesthetic.

First up is the Aurora mid tower chassis that include 2 tempered glass panels to complement its RGB lighting compatibility. Its supports motherboards ranging from mini-ITX all the way up to E-ATX. It also supports 7 PCI expansion slots and abundant clearance for long GPUs and CPU coolers, at 400 mm long and 160 mm tall respectively. It also has support for 2 SSDs and HDDs each. The Aurora also has lots of options in terms of fan and radiator mounting. The chassis can support 120mm or two 140mm fans in the top and front, and one 120mm or 140mm fan in the bottom. The case ships with a single 120mm exhaust fan in the rear by default. Radiators and all-in-one coolers are limited to a single 240mm in the top and front of the chassis. The rear mounting location can accept radiators and all-in-one coolers up to 140mm in size. Standard ATX PS2 power supplies up to 220mm in length can be installed in the bottom of the chassis. The Aurora is available now in both black and white finishes. Pricing is set at $90.

The Nova TG is the other chassis Bitfenix revealed. It has a single tempered glass panel on the left side. CPU cooler support and expansion slots are the same as the Aurora, but GPU length support is a bit lower at 320 mm. Where it one ups the Aurora, however, is that it includes a single optical drive bay and a total of 4 HDD mounts in addition to the 2 SSD mounts. Fan support is fairly standard, but not the same as the Aurora with only a single 120 mm rad support at the back.  Like the Aurora, the Nova TG is also available in both black and white.  The company did not provide information on the case’s pricing or availability.
