Bethesda Announced Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus System Requirements and Features, with Vulkan Support

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is one of the most highly awaited game coming to PC this year and Bethesda Softworks has announced the system requirements of the game. The game is being built on the same idTech 6 engine which was used to create DOOM (2016) and comes with support for the Vulkan API at launch.

Several advanced features like FoV adjustment, colourblind options (protanopia, deuteranopia and tritanopia) will be included in the PC version though basic features like texture settings and an unlocked frame-rate are already included in the game and it also includes five different AA options which include TAA, FXAA, SMAA, TSSAA and more.

Advanced Visual Settings :

  • Lights
  • Shadows
  • Directional Occlusion
  • Reflections
  • Decals
  • Motion Blur
  • Image Streaming
  • Volumetric Quality
  • Decal Filtering
  • Deferred Rendering
  • Chromatic Aberration
  • Depth of Field
  • Resolution Scaling

It was reported that Rapid Packed Math will be included in the PC version of the game mentioned in slide from AMD from Siggraph 2017 but recently there has been no reports of Rapid Packed Math support for PC version of the game which is not easy to explain and kinda means that the game will not release with support for this feature on PC.

Rapid Packed Math is only available on AMD’s Vega Graphics Card architecture on PC, yet the feature is already available on Sony’s PS4 Pro console.

Gustafsson Said :
