- RAM: 6GB

SETTINGS
Note: 1080p resolution and FOV is 110 (to each their own).
In the “Video settings” we see various options to tweak around. Some effect fps drastically while offering little to none visual advantage, while others have little to no impact on FPS but they can give you an upper hand amidst those third parties.
First lets compare the max settings to the lowest possible settings.
This gives us a baseline of 104 FPS(avg).
ANTI-ALIASING: -3 FPS
TSAA eliminates the rough edges and gives a smoother appearance to objects. Turning this on has a minimal effect and gives a great improvement to visual quality.
STREAMING BUDGET: -3 FPS
Set the streaming budget to whatever the size of your VRAM, in our case 4GB. This improves model detail with minimal effect on FPS.
TEXTURE FILTERING: -2 FPS

Going from bilinear to trilinear has clear visual gains but anything higher than trilinear failed to show a graphical difference but at the cost of more frames. So setting it to trilinear is the best option.
AMBIENT OCCLUSION QUALITY: -18
We recommend turning this completely off as this drastically impacts FPS and the visual gains aren’t worth it.
SUN SHADOW COVERAGE: -1~
Recommended to keep this off because when paired with other lighting settings this can impact FPS.
SUN SHADOW DETAIL: minimal impact
This setting is extremely useful as you can spot approaching enemies from their shadows. In the below image you can see the shadow of the gun clearly visible.
VOLUMETRIC LIGHTNING: -7 FPS
Its recommended to set this off since the visual improvement is not justified by the FPS loss.
MODEL DETAIL: -5 FPS
Slightly improves models e.g rocks, mountains. Recommended to turn this off.
EFFECTS DETAIL: During combat
Explosions, bombardment, thermite etc are controlled by this, if you have the CPU power to spare, turn this on otherwise it can affect fps during combat.
IMPACT MARKS: During Combat
Yes that’s all it does.
If you have the CPU power to spare, turn this on otherwise it can affect fps during combat.
RAGDOLLS: During combat
Controls how accurate animations are for killed legends. Again, if you have the CPU power to spare, turn this on otherwise it can affect fps during combat.
OPTIMIZED SETTINGS:
We went from 104 FPS to 97 FPS.
This is the average FPS you’ll get throughout the game.
Note: This is not the max fps, frames will fluctuate between 60-140.
(Minimum during the time you’re in the drop-ship when the whole map is visible and maximum while running around.)
