According to the IO-Tech AMD issues official statement regarding Radeon RX Vega 64 pricing,
”Radeon RX Vega 64 demand continues to exceed expectations. AMD is working closely with its partners to address this demand. Our initial launch quantities included standalone Radeon RX Vega 64 at SEP of $499, Radeon RX Vega 64 Black Packs at SEP of $599, and Radeon RX Vega 64 Aqua Packs at SEP of $699. We are working with our partners to restock all SKUs of Radeon RX Vega 64 including the standalone cards and Gamer Packs over the next few weeks, and you should expect quantities of Vega to start arriving in the coming days.”

AMD delayed the Vega to increase the launch volume but Vega wasn’t even available at launch the only ones left are for an increased price.  Sources have told us that Vega was delayed to polish the drivers and squeeze every last bit of performance out of the chip. In the end, this resulted in a very high power consumption Newegg only offered MSI Vega for 499 USD, every other Vega was sold for 599 USD. In Eurozone, the price oscillated from 609 EUR to 649 EUR. Currently, you can only buy Vega for 649 EUR.
