Aerocool – Is it a new brand?
Aerocool is a brand that requires no introduction when it comes to PC components. They have been one of the leading manufacturers of casings and cooling solutions in the industry.
Now that they have finally brought their products to Pakistan, we get our first look at the Aerocool SI-5200 Mid Tower ARGB Casing. In this review, we will be going over its build quality, aesthetics, and airflow.

Packaging and Contents of the Box
Packaging
The SI-5200 comes packaged in a typical sturdy box with your usual branding and technical specifications scattered all over.

The casing is neatly tucked in between thermapool to prevent shock damage from drops and shocks. After taking off the dust cover, you finally unwrap the SI-5200.

The very first thing that you will notice about the casing is the weight, it is extremely light – weighing only 3.8Kgs.

Design and Features
Front
The SI-5200 by Aerocool is a sleek looking minimalistic case. On the front, the dark translucent acrylic panel allows the ARGB fans to shine through when illuminated, however, they are plenty visible even when the lighting is off. The branding on the casing is very subtle, as there is only a single Aerocool logo present on the front panel.

You can show off your components as this casing has an acrylic side panel which is slightly darkened to complement the rest of the design. The panel is held by 4 stubby thumb screws. If you look closely, you can spot a pattern on the edges of the panel – a minor but appreciated quirk at this price range.

Have you ever been in a position where you were utterly perplexed as to how you were supposed to install your casing’s side panel?
Well, Aerocool has got you covered with the indented arrow present on the side panel which shows you this side faces the front.

On the top you have your I/O panel which comprises:

Two USB 2.0s and a single 3.0 port upfront – A headphone and Microphone Jack – LED indicators – Power and Reset Switch
Side
On the right side, the panel has a 13.3mm indent to facilitate cable management.

Rear
There isn’t much going on the back side as it follows the typical layout. Although, I would like to praise the holes present on the GPU bracket as they make your life slightly more convenient.

Bottom
Underneath the casing, you can find the dust filter for the PSU fan. However, I was slightly disappointed at the feet, as they are made up of hard plastic instead of rubber which can cause the casing to move about.

Inside
Usually, you won’t find a PSU Shroud in casings at this price point but the SI-5200 has a full one. In addition to that, it supports radiators up to 240mm.

Storage
You can mount up to three 2.5′ drives in this casing, where as it only has the space to fit two 3.5″ ones.

Airflow
The casing follows the contemporary design of having an acrylic panel up front. There are holes on the side to allow air to pass through. In addition to that, there is an opening at the bottom as well.
In this weather, the temps have been normal even after extensive use.

RGB
As this is ARGB, if you motherboard has the option, you can take full control over the fans. However, if you do not have that choice, you can sacrifice your reset button to change the RGB modes. There are various RGB modes present on the SI-5200 including:

Where to buy it from?
Texon-Ware: The official distributor of Aerocool in Pakistan.
Hi, Most of the Liquid coolers come with the radiator plus fans. Do you have to take off the fans of that cooler or which cooler did you use?
